‘The Butcher’ at Home Farm Festival
One of our proudest collaborations here at Folkroom is our stage at the annual charity Home Farm Festival! We’re especially excited to announce the full line-up for next month’s event, our fifth working with the festival.
Between June 9th and 11th, twenty-one Folkroom acts will be heading down to Somerset to help raise money to send school equipment to disaster-stricken and impoverished regions around the world. It’s a tremendous cause, and we’ve put together a line-up worthy of your money!
Amongst the highlights are a full musical performance of Paul Mosley’s folk opera The Butcher. This stunning piece of music and spoken word theatre will be performed be a full cast including Rough Trade Records’ Josienne Clarke and a host of friendly faces from the Folkroom Rotating Orchestra!
Elsewhere the Folkroom stage will see sets from Jack Harris, Emily Mae Winters, The August List and Joe Innes and the Cavalcade, all of have terrific albums out this year. Michael Garrett and Emma Ballantine will offer headline sets, and there are plenty of other hidden treats amongst the line-up.
Home Farm Festival runs 9th-11th June 2017, and tickets can be purchased here. Full Folkroom stage line-up below.
