THEN! That’s What We Called Music 44

Now 44 gig

April 21st sees the return of our ever popular Now compilation album covers gig series (yeah, this is a thing now). This time round we’re exploring the music of Now 44 – a record ripe with absolute pop classics from the final days of the last millennium.

Look, this is the biggest selling Now album of all-time, so you know you’re in for a night of iconic music. We have the dawn of Britney. Spice Girls gone solo. An Oscar-winning song from Phil Collins. Shania Twain in head-to-toe leopard print. It’s one hit single after another. Just check out the tracklisting.

As ever, we’ve gathered a handful of the Folkroom Rotating Orchestra’s finest to re-evaluate, re-imagine and re-interpret these pop classics. We have Winterfalle, Andrea Kempson, Alex Alex, Tom Hyatt, Sincere Deceivers, One Thousand Things and Louis Brennan, whose gospel-tinged Robbie Williams/George Michael cover remains the best advert for a THEN! gig we can think of.

Tickets are onsale now, and will likely sell out, so get them while you can!
