Christmas (Folkroom Please Come Home)
On December 14th Folkroom will be continuing its tradition of celebrating Christmas with our dear friends at Before the Gold Rush. This year, our annual festive gig will be taking place at The Amersham Arms in New Cross, where ten of our favourite acts will be taking to the stage! It’s time for another round of A Folky Christmas…
We’ve confirmed the terrific We Used To Make Things as a dance-worthy headliner who will close a day of Folkroom labelmates like Josienne Clarke & Ben Walker and Robin Elliott, Folkroom alumni Patch & the Giant, Andrew Butler and Lucy Cait and Folkroom favourites Worry Dolls, Ringlefinch, Nick E Harris and Tom Hyatt! All this will be mixed up with top Christmas tunes, mulled beverages and goodwill to ALL men (and women, and children standing on each other’s shoulders wearing trenchcoats).
If you’ve been to one of our end-of-year shindigs before, you’ll know to expect raucous Christmas spirit from beginning to end, and plenty of bad Christmas jumpers to boot! Tickets are available now, with all details over on our Facebook event page.
